Butterflies and Projects

This one just occurred to me when I arrived at the office and had no idea for today's comic. I wondered if I could blame it on a butterfly flapping its wings in Africa. Then, I wondered if my comic software had maps. When it did, I applied the same idea to a project being late.

You Got a Minute?

I used to comment on this with my Dad growing up. If our heart rate slows as when get in better shape, where is the lower limit? Could we get down to one, massive beat per minute. Just think of the energy you'd feel at that moment. Now, forty years later, I immortalize it in a comic.

I heard something at Chorale practice that made me think of this misunderstanding. And having an elderly person makes the mis-hearing funnier.

I saw these allegations being fired between USA and China in the paper and in the same issue was another article about our government spying on its own people. So, those seem very related.
