Off the Chart Fun

Doesn't laundry seem like such a mind-numbing activity that you actually end up dumber than when you started? Then again, is homework any better?

It's the New Black (light)

This is a followup to an earlier comic about painting a room all black. So, even if you make a room all white, a black light changes everything.

Fire@Will

Although it is not in the comic, this started from me thinking about the words I used in the title. I thought of someone in charge of a firing squad getting a text saying fire@will and reading it out loud. However, I couldn't find a way to make it work, so I decided he would just say "Shoot" out loud without him meaning for them to shoot.

DC Comics Lose Again

If you don't know know the famous Spiderman quote, you should research these words in Google ASAP. I don't think you are geeky enough to follow Clarity of Vision.

It's the New White

I painted a wall in our den this weekend while MBH (my better half) was out of town. No, it was not black.

Sign on the Dotted Line

No, I did not see any moldy cheese in my fridge, but somehow, the idea of polka dots and the moldy spots got stuck in my head. So, I started thinking about when you might like some polka-dotted and when would you not.

Golden Slumbers, Indeed

Sometimes, I turn words around in my mouth to see if they sound like anything else. McRib. MacCrib. And the strip title is, of course, a reference to a Beatles song. No, nothing to do directly with the strip, except that babies sleep in MacCribs.

Shh. I'm Watching TV

I'd tell you more about this comic, but I am watching Warehouse 13. Hush. We can do laundry and pick up later.

I Scream, You Scream

This is a fairly recent idea (April 30) for a cartoon. Somewhere, I read something about Ice Cream Sandwich OS for android phones and decided that could work.

For All Y'all

We were in a training meeting on Friday and I asked the woman beside me which choice to tasks we wanted to describe. Yes, I did ask "Which task do you like" and she said "Lack what?" Hmm, thirty years away and some words still sound Southern.

Mr. Blue Meanie?

This is a thirty-year-old story from when our daughter was young. It didn't play out exactly like this, but it did involve green beans.

Exercisalicious

I heard someone say something about moving exercise equipment today at work. Most of us end up using home equipment for clothes storage, right? So, I just combined the ideas.

Then and Now - Jokes

Somehow, the things we never had time to share with our kids are precious times with grandkids. Too bad we learn that lesson too late.

Then and Now - Swallow

This is a classic theme about how parental attitudes change as they have more kids (or grandkids). What was once worrisome becomes routine.

Then and Now - Snacks

I am sure each of you knows how differently parents and grandparents view the kids/grandkids. Snacks is one of those areas where we grandparents are a bit more lenient.

Then and Now - One

A reflection of my life as a grandfather. I am often a prince with one of the granddaughters as the princess. Hmm, never the queen. I guess that's the Disney influence.

WFH Is Not a Bad Acronym

I certainly am at home today with the grandkids, but I am not doing much work. I know better than to pretend I could get much done.
